Residents from the men's home at Al-Shefa'a Center for Care and Rehabilitation in Hebron eat a simple lunch before returning to their dorm room. The Al-Ihsan Charitable Society runs this institution for men who have severe congenital or behavioral disabilities. While many of the conditions have gone undiagnosed, caregivers suspect that schizophrenia and various forms of mental retardation affect many of the 13 men who live here.
