Children dodge passenger trolleys and an occasional train while playing in the densely-populated neighborhood of Magallanes, Manila, Philippines. More than 66,000 landless individuals live in tiny wooden or tin shacks along the treacherous Philippine National Railway (PNR) tracks. Landless and poor, most people that settled here were once farmers from the country's rural provinces who moved to the city to find better jobs. Manila offered only more landlessness and poverty.
