Farmworkers weed fields of red cabbage and red dandelion greens at the Route 1-managed Rancho Doloso farm near Davenport, CA.  Route 1 Farms, a small organic food company, harvests different varieties of kale, parsley, cabbage, dill, and parsnips on 80 acres of farmland near downtown Santa Cruz and further north along the foggy Pacific coastline.
